Casteu Trophy is a duo-format enduro motorcycle event held from 23 to 27 March 2026 in the Merzouga desert. Created by former rally-raid world champion David Casteu, the event was designed to offer enduro riders a first immersion into desert racing, combining competition, safety and shared adventure in a bivouac-based format inspired by the Dakar spirit. Riders compete in pairs on standard enduro motorcycles, following GPS liaisons and timed special stages marked in a classic enduro style on a looped desert course. Daily stages take place across dunes and desert terrain, with combined team times determining the overall ranking. The event places strong emphasis on rider safety, medical support and conviviality, with evenings spent at a central bivouac featuring shared meals and prize ceremonies.
