The Africa Eco Race 2026 marks the 17th edition of one of the world’s most iconic cross-country rally raids, reviving the original spirit of the historic Dakar routes. From January 25 to February 7, 2026, competitors will race from Tanger (Morocco) to Dakar (Senegal), crossing Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal through demanding desert stages, dunes and long navigation sections. Designed for cars, trucks, motorcycles, quads and SSVs, the Africa Eco Race blends endurance, navigation and mechanical reliability over nearly two weeks of racing. The Moroccan section plays a central role, with multiple stages across the south of the country and a rest day in Dakhla, before the rally continues through Mauritania and ends on the shores of Lac Rose in Dakar.
