Aït Bouguemez Valley, M’Goun UNESCO Global Geopark

Atlas Marathon 2026 is a mountain trail-running event held in the Aït Bouguemez Valley, known as the “Happy Valley,” in the heart of the M’Goun UNESCO Global Geopark. The event combines sporting challenge, nature, tourism, and solidarity while promoting the landscapes, Amazigh villages, cultural heritage, and local communities of the Central High Atlas. The programme begins with the opening of the race village and bib collection on October 23. Four races are scheduled across October 24 and 25: the Atlas Marathon, Atlas Skyrace 27 km, Trail Sidi Moussa 21 km, and Family Trail 10 km. The courses are open to different experience levels and offer participants the opportunity to discover the spectacular mountain scenery surrounding the M’Goun massif.
