Casablanca Marathon is positioned as one of the city’s flagship running events and as a major urban race experience in Morocco. Organized by the Association des Coureurs du Grand Casablanca (ACGC), it combines sporting performance with a strong city identity, aiming to offer an international-standard event that showcases Casablanca through its energy, landmarks, and running culture. The event includes three formats: a certified 42.195 km marathon, a 21.1 km semi-marathon, and a 4-runner relay marathon with relay points spread across the course. The route is presented as fully closed to traffic and designed as a “100% Bidaoui” experience, passing major sites such as the Hassan II Mosque area, the Corniche, Sidi Abderrahman, Morocco Mall, Casablanca Finance City, Mohammed V Sports Complex, and several emblematic Art Deco and historic districts. The race experience is supported by refreshment stations, medical coverage, pacers on the individual races, musical and artistic entertainment along the course, and a public Marathon Village at Espace Sacré Cœur with exhibitors, activities, and bib collection.
