MDS 120 Morocco 2026

MDS 120 Maroc is a multi-stage desert trekking event organized within the Marathon des Sables ecosystem, taking place in the Moroccan Sahara with logistics based around Ouarzazate Province. The route explores desert landscapes including dunes and historic sites such as Ksar Aït-Ben-Haddou. The event consists of three stages with distance options of approximately 70 km, 100 km, or 120 km, completed at the participant’s pace by walking or running. Participants follow a semi-autonomous format with food self-sufficiency during desert stages, four nights in bivouac, and four nights in hotel accommodation.
