Mines & Dunes is a Morocco Bike-Adventure cycling event and the successor to the former Morocco-BikeAdventure Tangier to Sidi Ifni format, which originally finished in Essaouira. It starts in Tangier and finishes in Boudnib, crossing remote parts of the Rif, Middle Atlas, High Atlas, and Sahara, including mining areas such as Ahouli and desert landmarks associated with Hannsjörg Voth’s installations. The event is a one-stage, self-supported bikepacking challenge with no time limit and two categories: solo and pair riders. Participants choose between two route families: a piste route with Full and Short gravel options, or a fully paved road route, with GPX navigation, route information, rider briefing, and live tracking provided by the organizer.
