Swira Breaking Jam

Swira Breaking Jam is a free open-air hip-hop cultural gathering in Essaouira, dedicated to breaking, hip-hop culture, transmission and community connection. Designed as an accessible and collective experience, the festival highlights the founding values of hip-hop: Peace, Love, Unity & Having Fun. The event brings together battles, cyphers, workshops, conferences, DJ sets, MC performances, graffiti, live music and a creative village. It showcases the four pillars of hip-hop : breaking, DJing, MC’ing and graffiti, offering a space for expression, learning and exchange between artists, dancers and the public.
