The Big Trail Challenge is a multi-day motorcycle off-road adventure tour in Morocco, designed for trail and big trail motorcycles and focused on navigation, endurance, and discovery rather than competition. The route crosses a wide variety of Moroccan landscapes, including mountain ranges, forests, desert pistes, and dune areas, combining asphalt, basic off-road, and more technical sections depending on the selected participation level. Riders navigate using GPX tracks provided in advance, supported by a paper roadbook containing key information such as fuel points, hazards, and points of interest. The event offers several riding levels to accommodate different skill sets, from entry-level riders initiating African crossings to experienced riders tackling more demanding off-road and sand sections. Full logistical, mechanical, and medical support is provided throughout the journey, with hotel accommodations and selected bivouac nights included. The Big Trail Challenge is open to motorcycles over 600 cc, with a dedicated category for lighter machines under specific technical conditions, and emphasizes safety, group cohesion, and immersive travel across remote regions of Morocco.
