The Oasis Raid is a non-competitive 4x4 adventure raid held in Morocco, designed for adult participants seeking an accessible off-road experience focused on navigation, discovery, and enjoyment rather than speed. The event is not a rally and does not use timing classifications, allowing each team to choose its own pace while following a paper roadbook and passing through designated checkpoints. GPS tracks and waypoints are not used, preserving a traditional navigation approach based on orientation and strategy. The raid unfolds over several days of driving across varied Moroccan landscapes, combining piste stages, desert sections, and scenic regions, with a mix of hotel stays and optional bivouac nights. Mechanical assistance, medical support, and satellite geolocation are provided throughout the event to ensure safety and continuity for all participants.
