Morocco Backyard Ultra brings one of the most demanding endurance formats to Morocco, challenging runners to push far beyond conventional race limits. Set in the Maamora Forest, the event follows the backyard ultra concept created by Lazarus Lake, where athletes repeat a 6.706 km loop every hour, on the hour, until only one runner remains. There is no fixed distance and no traditional ranking. Strategy, pacing and mental resilience are key, as runners must manage fatigue and recovery with precision. The only official finisher is the last athlete standing, completing one final loop alone, making this event a pure test of consistency, determination and mental strength.
