Ultra-cyclingGravelRoad

Between €69 and €189, depending on the format

"Start with the legs, finish with the mental" In January 2026, Marrakech will host one of the most demanding and inspiring cycling adventures on the international calendar : GravelMan Marrakech. Set at the gateway to the High Atlas Mountains, in the Ourika Valley, the event offers a full immersion through mountain roads, gravel tracks, Berber villages and breathtaking landscapes dominated by the Toubkal massif. True to the DNA of the GravelMan Series, the concept is based on full self-sufficiency : no rankings, no permanent assistance, but a personal challenge where each participant manages their own pace, navigation and strategy. A few days before the start, riders receive a GPS track and a manifesto detailing the mandatory checkpoints to validate along the route. Several formats are available, allowing each cyclist to choose their level of commitment : 600 km, 350 km, 200 km, 120 km and 60 to 80 km. Each distance is offered in both Gravel (tracks and trails) and Road (100% asphalt) versions, giving participants the freedom to select their preferred terrain and experience. GravelMan Marrakech 2026 is more than a sporting event : it is a deeply immersive human adventure, where endurance, autonomy and the discovery of Morocco’s landscapes lie at the heart of the experience.

As part of the 40th anniversary of the legendary Marathon des Sables, 2026 sees the debut of MDS Ultra, a radically demanding ultra-trail event set in the Moroccan Sahara. This non-stop endurance race pushes athletes to their limits with two distance options, 100 km or 100 miles (~160 km), to be completed in self-sufficiency over a maximum of 40 hours. Runners begin on a shared course and can choose their final distance around the 60 km split point. The Sahara route follows the traces of the iconic Marathon des Sables course and is fully waymarked.
